LAS VEGAS — DraftKings has signed a deal to become the exclusive sportsbook sponsor for Prime Video’s Wednesday Night Hockey in Canada.
The agreement also makes DraftKings the exclusive casino integration sponsor during the 2026-27 regular season and select Stanley Cup playoff coverage on Prime Video. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The deal was announced the same day the annual G2E gaming conference opened in Las Vegas this week, and kicked off with Wednesday night’s game between the New York Islanders and Toronto Maple Leafs. Every matchup will feature at least one Canadian team, with the agreement running through the regular season along with a pair of first-round playoff series and one second-round series.
DraftKings will provide exclusive branded integrations spanning pregame coverage, live game action and intermission segments tied to key game events during Wednesday Night Hockey.
“Canada remains an important part of DraftKings’ continued growth, and this exclusive deal with Prime Video creates an exciting new way to connect with hockey fans throughout the season,” DraftKings Chief Marketing Office Stephanie Sherman said in a statement.
“NHL on Prime brings together the sport’s most passionate audiences, and we look forward to creating engaging experiences around the games and moments fans care about most.”
DraftKings’ sportsbook and casino platforms are currently available in Alberta and Ontario.
